Since February 2024, bulk senders to Gmail must authenticate with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, offer one-click unsubscribe, and keep spam complaints below 0.3% in Postmaster Tools. Enforcement escalated through 2025 from throttling to permanent rejection. At high volume there's no margin for a setup that predates those rules.

  • Nothing changes against an unverified state. Records documented, change agreed, result verified. That rule came from a live DNS incident and has held since.
